You would be hard-pressed to find a comedy club with more history or greater pedigree than the Comedy Store’s West Hollywood location along the Sunset Strip. Since its beginnings in the early ‘70s, the venue has regaled audiences with an unrelenting torrent of the biggest names in comedy, ranging from Sam Kinison to Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Chelsea Handler, Dane Cook and beyond. Through it all, the Comedy Store has never lost its quirky, intimate atmosphere, making it as inviting for the audience as it is the comics. At any given show you’re guaranteed to see some of today’s best and brightest stand-ups testing out material, and you never know what surprise guests might drop by to do a set.

The 2nd Annual Seafood Festival is happening again! Seafood lovers from all over California eagerly await the Long Beach Seafood Festival. This event celebrates the region’s delicious seafood and unique recipes from local chefs to the finest restaurants throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. This is an all age outdoor event alongside the Light House in Long Beach, California with a stunning view of the ocean and the Queen Mary. Enjoy a Food Demonstration by Celebrity Chef Shaun O’Neale, Season 7 Winner of Master Chef and food vendors. Each food vendor will offer their regular full-size meals and a mini $5 option available for purchase, so you will be able to sample the different food from different vendors throughout the day.

Explore lush gardens, koi-filled fountains, museum rooms, original adobe buildings and the Ruins of the Great Stone Church, home to the world-famous swallows. This peaceful oasis provides a wealth of photo opportunities and in-depth information about the history of the mission and the local area. Enhance your visit with their new multi-language audio tour available in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German, offered free with admission. The mission is conveniently located halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, close to the freeway and airport and within walking distance from the train depot.

The Long Beach Crawfish Festival serves up succulent scores of seasoned Cajun crustaceans prepared to mouth-watering perfection in the world’s largest crawfish pots. But there’s much more to do here than crawfish — savor New Orleans-style dishes like chicory coffee and beignets, dance to Cajun & zydeco tunes and march along with the second line parade.
